The Buffalo Bills safety suffered a cardiac arrest during his team's Monday Night Football clash against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. He is recovering at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is sharing updates with fans via his social media accounts.

NFL teams and players honor Damar Hamlin
As Damar Hamlin continues to recover, teams and players honored the Bills star by wearing t-shirts during pregame warmups that read "Love for Damar."
The Bills are going one step further. Their gameday uniform on Sunday against the New England Patriots will bear a patch that reads '3', Hamlin's jersey number.
Teams and players have gone above and beyond in supporting Hamlin. The Bills safety's GoFundMe page, which had set a goal of receiving $2,500 in donations, has garnered over $8.25 million and continues to rise. All 32 NFL teams and players, including Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford, have made sizeable donations to Hamlin's cause.
The Bills star will now cheer for his team from afar for the rest of the season after being placed on IR. Buffalo will take on the Patriots on Sunday, hoping for a win to not only knock New England out of the running for a playoff spot but also ensure they avoid a trip to Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC Championship game.
